Capture Kent offers a relaxed, three-hour photographic walking experience in Chatham.
Join us at the former Naval Base, now a university campus, and photograph the maritime and industrial heritage surrounding us. We’ll take you on flat walking route, to the ship yards of the Historic Chatham Dockyard, and on to shoot the huge dock basins which separate St Mary’s Island from the ‘mainland’.
Learn of the strange and murky history of this island, and locate the only part of Kent where you can get both the Elizabethan and the Norman castles of Upnor and Rochester in one shot. Lunch with us at The Pumproom, a red brick slice of Victorian ingenuity.
