Fenn Bell is Medway's first licensed zoo.
The Fenn Bell Conservation Project was started with two Kune Kune pigs, Ginger and Spice. It has now grown to a popular visitor attraction and successful conservation project offering the chance to see a wide range of animals including otters, meerkats, racoons, lemurs, different species of monkey, birds of paradise, wild cats and more.
All of the zoo's animals have come through rescue or from other zoos. We aim to give these animals a safe and enriching environment to live in. We are very proud of what we have built here at the Fenn Bell and do lots of work with schools on educating youngsters on these animals.
The Zoo holds events at Easter, Halloween and Christmas. It also offers a range of zoo keeper and animal encounter experiences, as well as school group visits.
The zoo is linked to the Fenn Bell Inn pub and offers a range of hot and cold snacks and drinks.
