These include the traditional Rochester Sweeps, Dickens and Dickensian Christmas festivals, as well as the annual Christmas market in Rochester and a growing programme of spectacular cultural and creative festivals. 

Heritage attractions including the Historic Dockyard Chatham and Rochester and Upnor Castles also host popular events programmes, including the Rochester Castle Concerts, Rapture Gaming & Creative Festival, Salute to the '40s and the Festival of Transport & Steam. 

The Brook and Central Theatres have a great line-up of music, comedy, dance, drama and children's entertainment. 

Get healthy and active with programmes and major community events including the Medway Big Ride and Medway Mile, as well as major sports events hosted at Medway Park.
