Mountbatten House is being transformed into a large art installation for the Jubilee

Jubilee Windows Project

A large art installation has been created using Mountbatten House, which looms over the Pentagon in Chatham, as part of Medway’s celebration of the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee.

Some 250 windows have been tactically coloured purple or blacked out so that when lit up at night the building will display a fitting tribute to the Queen.

Keep a look out for when the installation is lit up at the beginning of June.

The project is being run by Ammused, and supported by Medway Development Company (Medway Council) and Medway Norse.
