Street Parties and Local Community Celebrations

Communities across Medway will come together for street parties and local picnics and fun days for the Jubilee.

Platinum Jubilee Street Parties – Thursday, 2 June to Sunday, 5 June

There is a long history of street parties in the UK. Communities and neighbours will come together to host Platinum Jubilee Street Parties all across Medway over the bank holiday weekend, or as part of The Big Jubilee Lunch.

For those with road closure permission in place, here's a reminder of what to consider and plan for to ensure your event goes ahead safely.

More helpful tips, advice and support for organising a successful event can be found on The Big Lunch website where you can request a free Big Lunch pack for organisers, and also on the Street Party website.
